Relations between the FIA and the Formula One Teams Association (FOTA) broke down again today after the so-called ‘FOTA eight’, angry at being robbed of voting rights over next year’s rules, walked out of a meeting with the FIA at the Nurburgring.

German Grand Prix: Thursday Press Conference
It was an all German affair in today’s Press Conference with Timo Glock, Nico Rosberg, Nick Heidfeld, Adrian Sutil and Sebastian Vettel all being subjected to the world press.
Under particular scrutiny was Sebastian Vettel. This weekend will see the Red Bull Racing driver attempt to close the gap to Jenson Button and become the first German to win his home Grand Prix since Michael Schumacher.
Ecclestone in more trouble after alleged comments
Bernie Ecclestone has found himself in even hotter water today after comments he allegedly made to reporters. According to the Daily Mail, the FOM Chairman reacted angrily to being informed that the World Jewish Congress had called for his resignation.
‘It’s a pity they didn’t sort the banks out,’ he is quoted as saying by the Mail.
Germany Expects
Hailed as the next Michael Schumacher and with what is currently the quickest car on the grid to boot, Red Bull ace Sebastian Vettel is Germany’s best hope for victory when the Formula One circus re-descends on the Nürburgring this week for the German Grand Prix.
