Despite being one of the back-runners, Takuma Sato is rumoured to be amongst Formula 1’s highest paid drivers.
His Super Aguri teammate for 2007, Anthony Davidson, is said will be earning about $250,000 a year. Sato himself is rumoured to be earning $7.7 million - this includes both his salary and sponsorship.
In contrast, Alonso is reported to have earned $7.2 million in 2006, although his McLaren salary is rumoured to be higher than this.

Schumacher got something like 65 million anually from Scuderia Ferrari. If you throw in his sponsorships deals it was closer to 100 million.
