Current World Champion Fernando Alonso has set his first laps with his new team at Valencia this morning. The Spaniard, who switched from Renault to McLaren, posted an installation lap before completing two low-speed laps as the team checked the system for important data. 

The MP4-22 was revealed on Monday at Valencia with a brand-new driver line up and also the new title of the Woking based squad, Vodafone. McLaren will hoping for improved fortunes this year as the team was winless last season for the first time in a decade.
