Rubens Barrichello has dismissed reports that his 2008 race seat is not safe. If Barrichello does race next season, he will shortly find himself as the most experienced Formula One driver of all time.
Some media sources have suggested that the Brazilian may lose his seat when Alonso s future is decided it is believed by some that Honda are waiting to see the outcome of the driver shake-up at the end of the season to see if they can pick up a quicker driver.
Jarno Trulli is another man rumoured to have his race-seat in doubt despite putting pen to paper for another year with Toyota. Barrichello too has already signed a new contract with Honda way back in July and is not worried about the rumours.
“Honda know what they have in my experience,†Barrichello remarked. “And I am as fast as Button.â€
