Ferrari test drive Marc Gene has managed to get a seat for the 24 hour Le Mans race later this year with Peugeot. Due to the new testing rules, Gene’s Formula 1 role at Ferrari will be limited.

It is claimed that Ferrari boss Jean Todt has given Gene the go-ahead for him to drive the Le Mans race, and it is likely that McLaren tester Pedro de la Rosa will be his teammate.
