Rosberg attracts attention

According to Gerhard Berger, even Ferrari are taking a second look at Nico Rosberg. The 21 year old German has impressed so far this season and Berger believes many of the big teams think he is a good prospect for the future.

“Alongside Lewis Hamilton, Nico is, for me, the superstar of the season,” Berger explained to Sport Bild. “He has become interesting for each and every team – Ferrari included.”

Frank Williams currently holds the keys to Rosberg’s contract and is keen to ensure everyone knows that Rosberg will not be leaving in a hurry as his contract does not expire until the end of 2008.

Team mate Alex Wurz also admits that Rosberg is outshining him in terms of pace. Even Patrick Head, normally slow to offer public praise, is positive about the young driver. “Nico is a great driver,” Head said. “All he needs now is a super-fast car. We will try to give him one soon.”

It seems Rosberg’s star is currently shining brightly and he has a very positive future ahead of him in Formula 1.

During the Australian GP after the incident on lap 17 involving Nakajima. why did the the deployment of the saftey car take longer than usual and the after the deployment of the saftey car why did take for ever to pick up the lead car.
normally the safety car is deployed immediately after the incident and picks up the lead car at the earliest opportunity which in this instance wasnt the case, do you believe this has had an effect on the outcome of the race as the safety car seemed to be confused as to what it should be doing at this part of the race, which was to immediately pick up the race leader, wasnt done.pls comment
