Schumacher back at the helm of a Ferrari
On Wednesday, Michael Schumacher got his first drive of Ferrari’s championship winning F2007 car. The seven-time world champion has only been behind the wheel of an F1 car once this season – and that was back in June when he took the helm of an F2004 during Ferrari’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
With the season’s racing finally over, the German driver took the F2007 on-track at Ferrari’s home track at Fiorano. The demonstration was put on for Fiat’s board of directors and was to celebrate both F1 title wins this season.
Schumacher was not in the car long, completing just five laps. No lap-times were recorded.

I think it would be interesting to see MSC an RAI race together with the same spec of car, at least 20 laps just to make the 60 anniversary come alive, do you agree with me….?

Would certainly be of interest. Even with the problems Kimi suffered in 2003, he finished just two points behind Schumacher in the F1 Drivers’ Championship. Finishing the season in second place despite three retirements to Michael’s one.
