Toro Rosso to appeal Liuzzi penalty

After the Japanese Grand Prix, the race stewards imposed a 25 second on Toro Rosso driver Tonio Liuzzi after it was deemed that he passed the Spyker of Adrian Sutil under yellow flag conditions. With the penalty applied, Liuzzi was demoted a place in the final standings and the team lost the only point they had won all season to the Spyker team.

Scuderia Toro Rosso dispute what happened and have notified the race stewards that they will be appealing the decision.
