Yamamoto cross at himself
Sakon Yamamoto, making his Spyker debut having replaced Christijan Albers, was angry at himself after retiring on lap 7 after spinning out.
“I shouldn’t have made a mistake at that point because for this race I should have finished, because that would have been the best for me – to have experience for the next Grand Prix,” Yamamoto explained. “I needed laps in the car. So, therefore, I was in a really bad mood for finishing the race after just five laps.
“However, I should move on from that for the next race. Now, I want to focus on the work on the B-spec cars and I am looking forward to the next Grand Prix – to race with the B-spec car.”
Spyker are introducing their B-spec car at the next race in Turkey in three weeks time.
