Ferrari and Toyota have continued on with their second day of testing at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain.
Weather conditions were good with little wind and Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen put in a top time of 1:30.595 having carried out a Grand Prix simulation in the new F2008. His best time was over two seconds faster than the pole position time for the 2007 Grand Prix. Badoer finished around 2 seconds behind his team-mate having carried out some general development work.
Glock and Trulli were out on-track for the Toyota F1 team. Glock was the quicker of the pair, although the was two seconds down on Raikkonen’s time. Trulli finished the day almost three seconds slower than Glock, although he was unable to put in as much track time as he would have liked thanks to a problem with his car.
