Heikki Kovalainen is following in the footsteps of his team-mate Lewis Hamilton and moving to Switzerland according to his lawyer.

Kovalainen is intending to move to Coppet to make the most of the generous tax system in Switzerland. Switzerland has long attracted wealthy individuals as Swiss citizens pay significantly less tax than their equivalents in most western European countries.

Kovalainen will be in good company when he moves – Michael Schumacher, Alain Prost, Fernando Alonso, Jacques Villeneuve, David Coulthard and WRC champion Sebastien Loeb all live in Switzerland, along with Jean Alesi, Kimi Raikkonen and Nick Heidfeld.
