McLaren will appeal Hamilton’s penalty

McLaren-Mercedes have confirmed that they will lodge an appeal against stewards’ decision to penalise Lewis Hamilton for cutting the chicane during his battle with Kimi Raikkonen in Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix.

“We have no option other than to register our intention to appeal,” a McLaren spokesperson said in Spa-Francorchamps.

“We have studied the details and put them before the FIA stewards. They show that after cutting the chicane Lewis lifted off, he was 6 kph slower than Kimi.”

“After conceding the lead to Kimi, Lewis repositioned his car on the right and beat Kimi on the brakes going into the hairpin.”

i made effort to clearly watch decisions made by the FIA and during the year i came up with “the FIA being againts and harsh on mclaren ,more so at hamilton….” my comment is made by going back to decisions made to favour farrari and stab at mclaren….

I had planned to buy a Ferrari, but they can forget that now!!!

I think it’s time for McLaren to look for an other raceclass. Hamilton is the only one that keeps me awake when I watch that “great” Formula 1 circus. The word circus is to good!! It’s a mess!! I think mafFIA is the right word for this organisation. I better go fishing next time than to watch this shit!!!

When Lewis wins the drivers championship it will be the best championship win ever not only has he had to beat the drivers but the PRO Ferrari FIA .To penalise such a talent and great driver kills off the thrill of F1. It stinks?

It appears that ferrari can do no wrong. All you ever hear from the commentators is ferrari this and ferrari that. A disgraceful decision. I sincerely hope that Lewis wins the championship and that McLaren come out on top.
    F1 is no longer entertaining.
