A rare voice in the support of Max Mosley has spoken out – Mohammed ben Sulayeam, president of the United Arab Emirates automobile and touring club has shown his support for the FIA President.

“I think the scandal has been used for the wrong reasons,” he explained to newspaper the Daily Telegraph. “Surely he did not break the law. That is something that is allowed here – I am a full supporter.

“How fast can we forget what this man did for motor sport? Where is was and where it is now – he did commit anything that weakens the FIA. We, as members of the FIA, elected him.”
