Montoya Attacks Schumacher

NASCAR newcomer Juan Pablo Montoya has blasted former F1 driver Michael Schumacher a ”nobody” after the German criticised the rookie’s new sport.

Schumacher has put serious question marks over the nature of the Columbian’s move to America from F1 but the former Williams and McLaren driver told SI.com: “People don’t understand what a big challenge this style of racing is.”

Schumacher Attends First F2007 Test

FerrariMichael Schumacher attended the Fiorano circuit to watch the Ferrari F2007 make its debut today.

Schumacher, reportedly earning $6m as Jean Todt’s ‘Super-Assistant’, watched Massa put the new car through its paces alongside Kimi Raikkonen. Ferrari’s President Luca di Montezemolo commended Schumacher on his continued motivation within the team, “it’s impressive to see Michael so concentrated on his new role.”

Schumacher made honorary citizen

Maranello, the town in Northern Italy famous for being the home of the Prancing Horse factory and F1 team, has made Michael Schumacher an honorary citizen. Although Schumacher was born in the Kerpen, Germany and is currently a Swiss resident, the mayor of Maranello, Lucia Bursi, has granted Schumacher the honour because of his career and contribution to Ferrari.

Schumacher reveals rivalry with Senna

Michael Schumacher has spoken out about his relationship and rivalry with the late Ayrton Senna stating that the Brazilian belonged to a different generation of racing driver to him.

Even though there was close battles throughout before the curtain fell down on Senna, the two had clashed on several occasions in the German’s first three years in the sport.

Schumacher will not drive in F1 again

Seven-time World champion Michael Schumacher has ruled out racing in Formula 1 again. After fifteen seasons racing near the top of the sport, he has announced he will not be appearing on the grid again.

Michael Schumacher has reportedly turned down a plea of local football team’s ‘FC Echichens’ coach, Patrick Ferrari. The club are languishing at the bottom ot the Swiss league and were hoping Schumacher could be drafted in to help change their fortunes.

Schumacher says his final farewell to Senna

In the lead up to the Brazilian Grand Prix, Michael Schumacher attended the grave of the late great Ayrton Senna. The Brazilian died in a fatal crash during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix whilst defending the lead from the German.

Schumacher To Make F1 Return…

Last weekend we watched one of Formula One’s all time greats retire at the top of his game, leaving many pondering the future of F1 post-Schumacher. However, F1 may not lose the valuable input Michael Schumacher made during his sixteen years of racing at the pinnacle of motorsport.
