Michael Schumacher has allegedly been caught for speeding. The former F1 champion was caught speeding on a highway near his hometown of Kerpen, Germany, although it is unclear what speed he was doing when he was caught. Police have confirmed that he was stopped for speeding in a 100 km/h zone and local media reports believe he was doing speeds of around 140 km/h. Had he been doing more than 146 km/h, he would have automatically have lost his license.

Kimi Raikkonen has admitted that his disastrous pit-stop which saw him injure the refuelling mechanic was entirely his fault. The current F1 world champion moved from his pit box too early whilst the fuel nozzle was still attached to his car. His actions caused the mechanic to be hit by both the refuelling rig and the rear tyre of Raikkonen’s car.

David Coulthard has revealed that he is expecting his first child with fiancée Karen Minier. The 37-year old F1 driver has confirmed that the baby will be a boy and he is due just after the 2008 season has ended.

Lewis Hamilton and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger’s relationship appears to be going strong.
The couple ate at trendy London eatery Nobu last night, accompanied by three of Scherzinger’s band-mates. The couple have spent a period in LA together before flying into London yesterday. The couple have been dating for around six months after meeting at the MTV Music Video Awards in Munich, Germany, earlier this year.
Finland’s postal service will be celebrating the success of Kimi Raikkonen, the current Formula 1 world champion, by commissioning a special sheet of stamps in his honour.
