McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh has spoken out about the marked difference between the different tyre compounds and he believes that there should be two mandatory pit stops per race to help spice up the races. Bruno Senna praised the efforts of his team, after the Brazilian managed to run a number of laps in the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Nico Rosberg has blamed his pace on the option tyres, for not finishing on the podium.

It has emerged that the Grand Prix Drivers Association (GPDA) has decided to delay the appointment of its new chairman until the weekend of the Australian Grand Prix.
