Pedro de la Rosa and Kamui Kobayashi were disappointed with their qualifying efforts, after failing to set a time anywhere near the top ten.

After a positive pre-season, the Sauber team had been expected to fly around the Sakhir circuit. Robert Kubica has put his stunning second place drive, in the Brazilian Grand Prix, down to a gamble taken by the team in qualifying.

Robert Kubica was pleased with his qualifying position after successfully overcoming the tests of a very wet Brazilian Grand Prix qualifying.

BMW has announced that it has reached an agreement to sell it’s Formula One operation to the Qadbak Investments company, despite news that the team’s place on next year’s grid is not confirmed.
