Red Bull’s head of corporate projects, Dany Bahar, has left the energy drink team. It is rumoured that he has switched allegiance to Ferrari and will be joining them in a management capacity, however there has been no official announcement as yet.
The news comes after the recent departure of their head of development, Anton Stipinovich.

Following the six-day test session in Bahrain, Red Bull will be adding a test session to the schedule before the season opener in Melbourne to try and cure the RB3’s pace and reliability problems. Most teams are making the Bahrain tests the last before the season begins, however Red Bull will be heading to a European track for further tests. France and Spain are the two favourites for the test session.

Australian Formula 1 driver Mark Webber has had an uncomfortable start to his time with team Red Bull. Since joining from Williams at the end of the 2006 season, Webber has been struggling to fit comfortably into the RB3 car during testing.

Michael Ammermuller is to be Red Bull’s reserve driver in the 2007 season according to their motorsport advisor, Helmut Marko. Robert Doornbos apparently has too many clashes because of his commitment to the Champ Car series and so Ammermuller was promoted to the position.

David Coulthard has so far refused to make any negative comments about his new RB3 car, despite the lack of success in testing so far. Both Coulthard and Webber have failed to shine whilst testing in the new, Adrian-Newey designed car.

This morning Red Bull Racing unveiled their new Renault powered RB3 at Barcelona. The car, designed by Adrian Newey, and overseen by Technical Director Mark Smith, is thought to have many similarities with technology produced by their former teams, McLaren and Renault.

Red Bull Racing have announced a new partner - Oerlikon. Oerlikon are a Swiss technology company who are global leaders in the field of thin film, vacuum and precision technology. They also are a major provider of semiconductor technology.

Red Bull racing are updating themselves with a new imaeg for he 2007 season. Team manager Jonathan Wheatley explained, “When the pit garage doors open for the first time we want to make an impact, not just with the race car but with everything else in the team.”
